No, I'm not dead. Nor have I eloped with someone fantastic. (or even someone not-so-fantastic)

I'm actually able to come back to uni now; today was my first day back. And I got to see Laura! Yays! :)

I'm pretty worn out right now, but I feel more productive now that I'm back to lectures again.

Wednesday I get the motorised scooter from uni. And no, you can't have a go on it. No, not even if you get me chocolate. :P

I hope this knee clears up soon; sleeping downstairs and not being allowed to go to my room to pick out my own clothes/shoes/cleaning products/teddy bears/anything I need.

Physio thinks that it will take at least twice as long for me to heal this as it would take a normal person, so I've got at least another six weeks to go :(

I've had to drop my maths subject, which I'm really sad about. I know it's the right/practical/necessary thing to do, but it still feels like I've failed a little bit. They've been really helpful with my physics courses, though, so I hope I won't have to drop anything else. So far I've been okay (and even been able to complete one bit of assessment for physics!) but I'm going to take it slow and not push things so I don't get into a big relapse.

I've missed seeing everyone and I'm very glad I'm back at uni because I was starting to turn into a nutty hermit! Going to PAIN on Friday helped too, even if people did keep running off with my walking stick :P

I stumbled across this site, compiled by <s>Christian Nutjobs</s> Concerned Christian Experts on Morality.

They provide free assessments and ratings of most movies (well, most movies that kids are likely to encounter and want to watch, apparently), based on their invented "WISDOM" categories. W = Wanton Violence/Crime, I = Impudence/Hate, S = Sexual Immorality/Homesexuality, D = Drug/Alcohol use, O = Offence to God, M = Murder/Suicide. From what I can tell, these are all considered equal in their mathematical assessment of the suitability of the movie. Except that a single sex scene will make the movie lose all its purity points for the S section, while a single murder won't lose many M purity points.

It's insane. I've wasted the best part of an afternoon in horror looking at their assessments of movies I thought were fine. (Apparently The Lion King is evil because the song "The Circle of Life" is promoting reincarnation. Also, The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy is evil because it promotes Darwinism.)

It's painful, but hilarious. At first, I thought it just *had* to be a joke. But far too much time and effort was put into this (and far too many crazy "offensive" things were discussed) for it to be anything but purely serious.

What gets me is that the person rating all these films as being total filth, sat through and documented every single occurrence of every single sinful word or act throughout the entire film, even with movies so evil as to go below zero with their purity points. You'd think if it was so bad, he'd just leave.

As you can probably guess from the title, I just got back from the live performance of Spicks and Specks! Yay! It was fantastic (and I of course have a T-shirt to celebrate my outing).

Highlights include:
- band playing The Sounds of Silence in the style of Death Metal
- The stagehand was called Hamish! (Unfortunately, he wasn't Hamish Blake)
- The band were dressed like early Beatles
- A guy from the audience yelled to Adam Hills, "My girlfriend wants to know what you're doing after the show" during their "Do You Have Any Questions About Spicks and Specks?" segment
- While looking for contestants: "Stand up if you're here with one or both parents" many people stand up, "Okay, you there young man! What's your name? Cody*!" pause, "Which one of your parents do you want to nominate to be a contestant?"
*I can't remember the actual name of the kid
- Alan did interpretive dance

It was wonderful! *squee* The band was actually good, and the lead singer/guitarist was Myf's brother!

I got to wear my new glitter eyeliner

I ran into Felicity et al.
